so all the workshop spots are taken for the spring/summer sessions except one next week that most recently fell through. so one more spot open for the 5th and 6th of may. the 5th would be working here at my studio from about 10-3 lunch provided. and the 6th would be from about 2:30 to 5:30 at thanksgiving point. if your interested please apply via email ASAP! info@studiostems.com

a mini workshop with studio stems

here at studio stems i get weekly inquiries about hiring, internships, or people just flat out wanting to learn. i have decided to offer all you inquirers an opportunity. studio stems will be offering mini workshops periodically. the best thing about these workshops is that they will also be real experience with our team as we prep and complete events. you will be an employee for the day, one that can ask as many questions as you like and one that i will be specifically paying extra attention to in efforts to educate you on the ins and outs of it all and there is nothing more valuable then real experience on a real event. *clients rest assured that you still get me and my whole team as it was prior to now!

the first opportunity is drastically soon! april 23rd & 24th. it will cost you $100 per day with me. april 23rd will be from 1-5 in orem and the 24th will be from 2-5in slc. i will be accepting applications for the april workshop until the 21st. if your interested i need you to email (info@studiostems.com) your name, contact info, age, experience, and a short paragraph about why you want to do this with me. please specify which dates your interested in.

In response to David Perry’s mother being refused assistance from her insurance company in 1998 for a life threatening disease, he put together a video using just an old home video camera, VCR and audio cassette recorder. When his mother, as well as fifty other patients, were then able to receive the financial support they needed, he knew he had found his passion.

Ten years later, David has since traveled to Africa, Guatemala and Mexico championing the cause of the less fortunate. His documentaries have been featured at the United Nations in New York City and recognized with the WEVA International Community Service Award. David was named "Best of State" for documentary films in Utah.

Along with addressing life's challenges, David has a great passion for filming weddings. Capturing some of life's most beautiful and joyful moments has been a rewarding and fulfilling adventure for David. David shoots over one hundred weddings per year while still producing award winning wedding films. In fact, David has won over fifty awards for his wedding films, including four Telly Awards, five Aurora Awards, multiple other international awards and over twenty first place awards here in Utah.
